Three ways to a print-ready paper
Build it yourself section by section, describe it to the Paper Assistant, or start from a PDF you already like. Every way ends with you checking each question before it prints.
Build a paper yourself, section by section
Full control over every section, every filter and every question. Best when you know exactly what the paper should test.
Open New Paper and fill the header
Give the paper a name, then set the duration, total marks, exam date and the header text to print.
Start from a blueprint — or a blank paper
Pick a ready pattern such as JEE Main Standard (75 Q, 180 min), JEE Main CWT (25 Q, 60 min), NEET Standard (180 Q, 180 min) or NEET CWT (45 Q, 60 min), one of your own saved blueprints, or press Add section and start blank.
Shape each section
Name it (Physics, Section A…), add instructions, set marks per question, negative marks and, if you like, "attempt any N of M".
Say which questions you want
Add criteria blocks such as "10 easy MCQs from Kinematics". Narrow by class, subject, chapter, topic, sub-topic or micro-concept, and by difficulty, importance, Bloom's level, key skill, time needed, question type, target exam, PYQ exam and year, tags and language. A live count shows how many questions match.
Save — the paper is drawn as a draft
QTG picks matching questions from the bank. Questions already used in your finalized papers are left out, and a test series never repeats a question.
Review every question
Each question shows its QID, difficulty, chapter, topic and PYQ tag. Replace it by hand (five alternatives at a time) or at random, pin the ones to keep, delete, add one more, or let Auto add fill a section.
Finalize, then print
Finalize freezes the paper. Need a change later? Re-open makes a new draft version, so the printed one stays as it was. Then print the paper, answer key and solutions.
🧱 Blueprints save the structure
Save any paper's sections, marks and criteria as a blueprint — "Weekly test, Class 11 Physics" — and the next paper is one click away, with fresh questions. Clone a standard blueprint to make it your own.
🔍 Filters you can use
🚩 Found a mistake?
Press Report on the question — wrong question, answer or solution, missing text, image or equation. It goes straight to the content team; once fixed, Sync brings the corrected version into your draft.
📚 Ready test series
Use a qSarthi test series as it is, or duplicate it and adapt it. Sync with qSarthi keeps your copy up to date.
Tell the Paper Assistant what you need
A guided conversation that asks only for what is missing. Type in English, Hindi or Gujarati — or press 🎤 and say it.
Pick a quick start — or type one line
Choose Daily Practice Sheet (15 questions), Chapter-wise test (NEET 45, JEE 25, Foundation 20) or a Full-length paper (NEET, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, CUET, BITSAT, KCET, MHT CET, Foundation and more). Or just write the request in a sentence.
Name the paper and choose its shape
Build your own sections (1 to 10 sections, up to 200 questions) or pick a blueprint. For each section the assistant asks the question count, marks (+4 / −1 by default) and question types.
Choose the syllabus
Pick the class — 11–12 for NEET and JEE, 6–10 for Foundation — then the subject, chapters and, if you want, topics, for each section. "Same syllabus as Section A" saves repeating yourself.
Choose the language and the print
Paper in English, Hindi, Gujarati, or English with Hindi or Gujarati side by side. A matching print format is suggested — NTA-NEET, JEE-Main or Chapterwise Test — and you tick what to print: paper, key, solutions.
Confirm — and download
Add it to a test series if you like, confirm, and the PDFs are ready to download. Open the paper to look through it, or ask the assistant to replace question 7 of Section B.
💬 Things you can just say
It understands "12th", "std 11", "XII", "कक्षा 11" and "ધોરણ 12".
🧭 Always in control
- Back changes the last answer; Start over clears it all.
- Recent papers → Repeat makes the same paper again with fresh questions.
- The chat language and the paper language are set separately.
- Save the shape you built as a blueprint for next time.
📝 Prefer a form?
The Quick form asks the same questions on one screen.
Start from a paper you already like
Attach a paper PDF in the Paper Assistant (📎) and choose what to do with it.
Attach the PDF
Use a paper with selectable text — exported from Word or a typesetting tool. Scanned image-only PDFs can't be read.
Choose: a new paper like this…
AI reads the paper and works out its pattern — sections, class, subject, number of questions, marks, negative marks, "attempt any", question types and chapters. Anything it can't match to the syllabus, it asks you about in the chat.
…and get fresh questions in the same pattern
The new paper is filled with new questions from the bank — the questions in your PDF are never copied. Review, replace and print as usual.
Or: save its look as a print format
AI reads the first two pages and proposes the institute name, subtitle, instructions, header and student fields, numbering, option style, fonts, sizes, margins, columns and colours. It is saved as "name (from paper)" for you to fine-tune.
✅ Good to know
- PDFs up to 8 MB; about 40 pages are read for the pattern.
- Only the pattern and the look are taken — never the questions.
- Everything AI proposes is shown to you before it is saved.
🖨️ Fine-tune the format
A format made from a PDF is an ordinary print format: change any setting, make it your default, or clone it for another class. See every print setting →
Review, finalize and print — whichever way you started
Every paper ends up in the same place: a draft you can check question by question.
Review
See every question with its answer, solution and tags. Replace, pin, delete or add.
Finalize
Freeze the paper. Re-open makes a new version; the printed one never changes.
Question paper, answer key, solutions and a ProofRead copy — in your format.
